Today, I woke up a little after 9 to a call from Elaine.
She was calling to tell me she was on her way over to PLU to spend the day with me. Yay! We mostly listened to music and talked about life at our respective colleges. It was so good to see her again.
We decided to go see Alicia, too, and found her walking back from the bookstore. She was so excited and surprised to see Elaine! lol She’s so cute.
For lunch, we went to the Pita Pit (Yummy!!) and then to Chopsticks to get bubble tea, since Alicia had never had it before. A while later, Alex came by to get something from me, so we decided to just go with him down to Pfleuger (his dorm). …More talking/music/laughing/etc…. Elaine left at around 5:30 and then I went back to Pfleuger for dinner.
Alex made fettuccine alfredo with tomatoes and broccoli and cheesecake (which we had made very late the night before…lol) with huckleberry jam. It was delicious.
Well… the broccoli in the alfredo sauce had some issues… but the rest was fantastic. :D After dinner, I washed the dishes, and then we played Killer Bunnies, a rather complicated card game that my friends seem kind of obsessed with. The first game wasn’t so great for me… but the second one was fun. lol. By strategic playing of cards, it ended up being me and the two guys (Alex and Chad, his RA) versus Desta and Lisa. My team had ALL the good cards, so it was fun for me… not so fun for Desta and Lisa. lol Afterwords, Desta and I went back up to my room and talked and listened to music for the rest of the night. It was definitely a fun, exciting day.
It was fantastic to see you! Really, though, it wasn’t so much talking together as me just prattling on and on and on while you two (being the wonderful people you are) listened ever so sweetly. Next time when I’m not hyped up on music or aflutter about sending off atrocious Valentines or so wildly excited I forget social etiquette, we will have a mutual jolly good time together. <3
That was one fun day… yaya! And you’re cute too!
